Lucky Chinese Buffet in Tillsonburg

A little slow to be refilled but it's worth it for the quality. Decent priced. Desert bar needs some attention though. Staff is very friendly.

It's a good price. The food is good. The staff is friendly. No complaints here. Buffet has good variety for the value.

My wife and I went here on a Friday evening around 5:00 p.m. for an early dinner. We had never been here before so we thought we would give it a try. All I can say is DON’T!!Not one thing on their buffet menu had any flavour. The most flavoured thing on my plate was the grease that was dripping off everything. NOTHING was hot. The pans are were mostly empty and when they did bring food out, instead of replacing the old pan with a new one they just stacked onto the old one. I had a coffee that tasted as though it had been brewed in the morning. We even tried dessert, utter failure. Now we both hope that we are not sick to our stomachs because of this experience. Not really sure how they stay in business. Please please try somewhere else!!

Buffet food not always available. Waited for an hr from 3 until 4 somethin for dinner and they charge for infants no matter the age. Around $5. Also the English speaking is poor.

I thought i smelt wet dog and i sure did it was in sauce and i also had chicken balls

I've been to this place a ton if times and it's always been great.This time I dont know if it was to late in the night,but the food was old and dry,with hardly any selection.I hope this isn't the future of this place and just a bad night

We have been going to luckys for a year or so, we are regulars every Friday we go in for super, food is hot ,fresh, and plenty, if the dish you are looking for is Mt or old, just ask for a fresh dish. People say the food is over cooked? Are they Chinese cooks? Don't believe everything you hear about a restaurant, unless you know what your talking about. I give this restaurant 5 out of 5. Find me a better place for the price I'll check it out!.

To be truthful...Ive had MUCH BETTER. But if you're hungry...its ok.

Food was decent, they were always refilling empty dishes. Good value for the price. Would go again.

Free meal for birthday person and good buffet

We moved here from Toronto, and love good Chinese food. Unfortunately, this is one thing we will have to do without here. Do not eat here. Terrible service attitude towards customers, as if you are an inconvenience. The table was filthy, and if you like that taste of frozen, prefab Chinese food, eat here. If not, drive somewhere else. Definitely will never be back.

Service has gotten better now that the new owners have settled in. Food was hot and fresh.

Food was cold and rubbery and we went at 5pm which is in the dinner time spectrum so I expected the food to be warmer than my freezer. But alast it wasn’t.We were also charged for tillsonburg tap water, y’all know the difference...you can taste it and definitely tell it’s tap water...anyways it was $3.50 for two refills of not so luxurious tap water...I have never been to a place where tap water has a price. So to end this id like to say good luck and hopefully you’ll have a better experience but might as well get an actually drink while your there...because it’s 2018 and tap waters no longer free.

Over I would I rate this place a 3 star but I would not call this place lucky Chinese buffet because I felt unlucky when I got my food, it was disgusting but the rice was amazing. The plate was so warm that when I grabbed I burned my hand.

This has got to be the worst chinese buffet I have ever been to in my entire life. Came in at 8:10 restaurant closes at 9:30. We figured they would replenish food since we decided to stay. Just the opposite they had old dried up empty containers in buffet and we hardly even had one plate. We asked for at least a few fresh dishes that we knew we would eat and they flat out told us no and started cleaning up. Still charging us full price of course. Food was terrible service was terrible and I will never return. I will also tell anyone I meet about our experience here. They should be ashamed!

Super friendly staff, great food, if they are out of anything, and you ask them, they will gladly refill it for u asap.

Went in at a busy time so you'd think it would be stocked well and ready, all containers were almost empty no big deal so we waited and had won ton soup, still no refilled buffet trays?? Asked staff and got told "it's coming" so again we waited...and waited, so I asked again with the same response. At this point I was ready to walk out but held back and kept my patience, but after 25 mins with only 1 plate of what i call scraps I had enough, I let them know I wasn't happy and walked out. Bill was $30 for 2 tiny plates of food. Only good thing from the whole experience is that we were only charged $15! I won't be going back again.

Food is pretty good considering how little you pay for buffet. Service is decent.

After reading so many bad reviews I had to go in for myself to see, well me and my daughter were quite pleased, the food was hot and there was a lot of choices with all the food containers filled, we had an awesome meal and the price was great as well, definitely will be going back!!

Most items on the hot Buffet where cold. Poor Service as the waitress never returned even once to our table to offer coffee or tea or refill water.The restaurant was not clean and poorly maintained. Example: Xmas decorations in the Windows and it was March 1!

Food inedible. Uncooked. when I couldn't eat the putrid food on my plate the waiter openly scolded me for wasting food. So not only do they serve you slop they then berate you for not eating it. Too funny. We ended up filling up on melted Ice cream.

Great Chinese takeout. I can't speak for their buffet, however, as I haven't eaten in. The chicken balls were mostly chicken without too thick a batter. The fried rice was tasty as was the sweet and sour pork ribs, Singapore noodles, egg foo yung and chow mein. I'll order from here again next time I'm in town!

I have to admit that it was hot.it was delicious and busy ,I must say they always checking to see if anything needs filled up, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND MANY RETURNS WILL BE COMING YOUR WAY

Nice staff, clean restaurant, food is fresh and good value but I'd love to see more vegan options and some delicious traditional Chinese veg like bamboo shoots, water chestnut, baby corn, baby bok choy and snow peas. Trade your canned mushrooms for fresh and add some delicious almonds and cashews and this place could be outstanding

I love this place the best buffet in town. But even with saying that the food isn't the best, the service is good not great. But I would recommend it over any other Chinese place in town.
